- That word "gladness" carries with it the meaning of being "wide-eyed with a big grin."
- It means action that is accompanied with laughter. Psalm 122:1
- Worship with a singing spirit. Ephesians 5:19-20

- Worship with the conviction that there is only one God – Jehovah. Isaiah 44:6; Hebrews 11:6

- “praise” means “to boast,” “to acclaim”
- It is an expression of delight.
- Praise God for His Goodness.
- The word means "good, pleasant, beautiful, delightful, glad, joyful, precious, correct and righteous” It can also mean “expensive."
- “God is good all the time. Sometimes it is obvious”
- Praise God for His enduring Love. Lamentations 3:21-23
- Praise God for His lasting faithfulness. Deuteronomy 32:4; 1 Corinthians 1:8-9; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

- God’s first 4 commands are about worshipping Him (Exodus 20)
- God gives details instructions on building the place of worship – the tabernacle

- God gives details instructions on the offerings necessary for them to worship him

- Our primary response to God for all he has done for us is sacrificial worship. Romans 12:1
