• The Greek word has three parts: “together with” + “life” + “to make.”
  

• “to make alive with”
• “to make alive together with”
• “together to make alive”
  

• But God… Gives You a Seat in Heaven (v. 6).

• But God… Displays His Grace in You (vv. 7-10).

• God displays His grace by rescuing you (v. 8). Acts 15:1; Romans 3:23-24; 11:6

• “Grace is the face God wears when He looks at my failures.”

• God displays His grace by only requiring that you put your faith in Christ to be rescued by Him. John 3:16; 3:35-36; 1:10-12; Romans 10:9

• Salvation heresies:
  • We can earn all or part of God’s salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9).

• We can possess authentic saving faith without it changing us. James 2:17
  

• God displays His grace by making you His object of transformation (v.10). 2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:4-8
