- Start where people are spiritually (v.22-23). 2 Timothy 3:7
- Introduce people to God (v.24-25).
- God exists - “the God” Hebrews 11:6
- God is the creator of everything - “Who made the world and everything in it” (v.24) Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16
- God is the ruler of all - “…is the Lord of heaven and earth.” v.26; Daniel 4:35
- God is totally self-sufficient – “He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything.” (v.25)
- God is the sustainer of life - “He Himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.”(v.25) Colossians 1:17
- God is not of man’s design so all idols are bogus. v.29; Romans 1:23; 1 Corinthians 1:21
- God will hold us accountable v.31
- God is near and wants to have a relationship with you - “…He is not far from each of us.” v.27; 28; Isaiah 55:6
- Tell people how to get close to God. (vv.26-32)
- Getting close to God requires:
- More than Religion – “In every way you are very religious.” (v.22) John 3:7
- Believing the Truth about God John 4:23
- Repentance - “Now He commands all people everywhere to repent.” (v.30) 2 Peter 3:9; Psalm 51:17
