- Don’t overlook the impossible, because God can do what you can’t do (vv. 8-10).
- Be careful to listen to the truth of Christ (vv. 11-13). Romans 10:17
- Main purposes for miracles:
- authenticate the character of Jesus and His relationship with His Heavenly Father.
- God is with Jesus (John 3:2).
- Jesus is from God (John 3:2; 9:32-33).
- God has sent Jesus (John 5:36).
- Jesus has authority on earth to forgive sins (Mark 2:10-11; Matt. 9:6-7; Luke 5:24-25).
- Jesus is approved by God (Acts 2:22).
- authenticate the message about Jesus. Mark 16:20; Acts 14:3
- Treat spiritual sincerity with caution –- it can lead you away from God (vv. 11-13).
- Keep a humble perspective about yourself (v.14). James 4:6
- Introduce people to the real God (vv.15-18).

- The Creator of all things
- The Supreme Ruler
- The generous kind Provider Romans 1:19-20
- Don’t stop serving God until He takes you home (vv.19-20).
- Stay focused on making disciples (vv. 21-28). Matthew 28:19-20
- Help strengthen their faith.
- “Strengthen” means to make solid, to fix, to glue down.
- Be an encourager to them.
- “Encourage/exhort” means to urge a person towards the proper course of conduct.
- Commit them to the Lord.
- Share with them what God is doing.
